getting micah's scratch tracks will certainly help move things forward, but i'm not sure if that means we can go straight ahead with the drum and bass tracking. that depends on a few things:

micah...do you have session files for the scratch tracks you recorded? would it be a pro tools session? was it even recorded to a click?

the answers to these questions really determines if we could just use what micah sends me for the drummer to play to or if we need him to do a legit gtr track with me here in chicago. i'm assuming the gtr part will be more difficult than something i could even pretend to attempt myself (even if it's just a scratch). we'll see.

Nate,

I recorded it on an analog board. No files. Sorry. There was no click track either. Besides that the arrangement of these tracks is extremely raw and not necessarrily final although they are structually complete for the most paert. I can get back in and re-record with click. You should have the tracks by now ? I look forward to discussing the scratch tracks with you and nate and ironing out the rough edges in order to collaborate a more complete song.
