i can't believe this! i found a place downtown that rents original u87s for $40 a weekend. that's pretty awesome. of course, we (or maybe just me) would spend $40 in gas and 2.5 hours in traffic driving roundtrip into the city to pick one up. could be well worth it though.

I could rent the u87 when I come. I could send it to you ahead of time. Also is everyone meeting again this summer. If so we might be able to do some recording/writing then as well..
