Plans

Micah, I don't get what your talking about "installations in June." It's the beginning of July now. I'd rather get one song recorded well then a whole album of stuff that's mediocre. My vote is to stick with the original plan. Nate says he has a good drummer lined up, let's get the rhythm and piano tracks down. We can work from there. Nate, do you need Micah in Chicago to work with this drummer, it seems to me like you could do it without him? Micah, thanks for the compliments, glad you liked the song and hope you're feeling 100% soon.

Keep posting, we will work this out.

Jesse,

I mean I am available at the end od july. Nate is gone at the end of july in florida. I am busy installing new accounts for my company in the beginning of july and the beginning of june. The best times for me to travel to chicago are the last two weeks of july or the last two weeks of june. I mentioned nate coming here only because I knew that at the moment he has time and will be gone the last two weeks of july. I hope I am making sense. I definately would like to record with the drummer to feed off of the synergy. O.k. recapp... The best times for me to travel to nate are either the last two weeks of june or the last two weeks of july. The first two weeks of july and the first two weeks of june are very busy for me. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at ben's. I agree taht we should do everything with as high quality as possible I just think that there is something special that happens when we write together ( 3 of us ) that could work as a full album. I dont want to record crap either. I actually am taking it seriously. I really think that the song you have written is very very good and I think that togehter the 3 of us could make a very fine album. I guess Ishould say that I would be willing to wait for a whole album and I believe that it could be done. I know that I am just starting to think about songs and after hearing your material and nates material it gives me a refference point for future possibilites and I think there is a lot of substance there to be explored. I genuinely appreciated paperback sci fi and found it to be a moving song.

I'm with you, there are certainly advantages to getting together and jamming. I also believe that we are all more competent musicians than we were when we recorded our earlier work. I'm sure we can make this a great project even if we have to do this "long distance."

So what's your two cents Nate?
